Girls Play Fast Camp July 9 - July 12, 2018

Program

What is Play Fast Camp?

  • Want to take your game a step further? Play Fast Training is NXT's fundamental-level camp for girls ages 6-14 who want to fine-tune their skills and elevate their game.
  • Our high-level professional coaches work directly with young players of all ability levels through the carefully-designed Play Fast curriculum, which features fast-paced, high-energy drills without having to wait in line forever.
  • Play Fast is designed to maximize quality reps, which is why there's an 8-to-1 player-to-coach ratio. Play Fast is a four-day camp.

Play Fast is perfect for:

  • Players from any team that want to keep their skills sharp during the summer season.
  • Play Fast is also the perfect continuation for Cradle Lacrosse alumni looking to expand their skill set.
  • Play Fast camp is all about having fun while playing the game of lacrosse. Spend the week with your lacrosse friends and teammates!

Players should bring:

  • Their own stick, goggles, and mouth guard.
  • Bring sunscreen, a snack and water bottle.
  • Pack a lunch or bring lunch money.

NXT Safety:

  • A certified Athletic Trainer will be onsite every day of camp.

& More:

  • Each player will receive a pinnie and camp give-aways!
  • We have awesome camp prizes, fastest shot competition and other fun games throughout the week.
  • Photos will be taken and posted on social media so the parents and players can follow along with the fun!

It seems silly, right? That lacrosse should be fun? Not to us! We work hard to find the perfect balance between player development and fun.  We understand different stages of development and we want players to love lacrosse!  Some of the classic games we mix in to keep things interesting are:

  • The Banana Dance
  • Drip Drip Drop
  • Sister Sister
  • Stick Circle
  • Barn Yard
  • Water Games
  • and More!

What You'll Learn

  • Proper stick mechanics for throwing and catching

  • Defensive footwork and positioning
  • Understanding game situations on offense, defense and in transition
  • Settled offense and defense
  • The clear and the ride
